Sportsman Pub and Grub in Pacific City

We only had lunch here. But, looks like it would be a fun place to have a beer and watch a game in the evening.Was quiet during the week at lunch time. The burger I had was ok. But, I regret not getting the fresh caught fish and chips now!

Local old sports bar. Has a new outdoor smoking covered patio. Pretty rough inside. Slow service when it's busy. Fish and chips are great and comparable to the Pelican Pub. Next time I'll order fish and chips to go and head home. Just not the atmosphere for me but I'm sure there's some who love it.

This place has horrible service. I’m a local, and time and time again our orders are wrong/ missing items, staff is ridiculously rude, and they’ve misplaced (forgot to place) our pick-up orders. We order- show up to pay and grab our food- and there’s no trace of the order, and we’re forced to wait another 20 minutes. This place isn’t the WORST! Would put zero starts if possible!!!

Sportys is great. Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food and drink. It feel like the social heart of Pacific City. This place never disappoints.

Good service decent food

It's a dive bar. Dark, drab and full of locals. ALSO, the BEST DAMN FRIED FISH ON THE COAST. The ladies are super friendly here and they have a pretty damn good tap list too but the food is so great. The fish is breaded, which I love and they have great fries and sauces. So good. Go out of the way (and out of your comfort zone) and give this place a try.

Excellent food and service! Our waiter was so funny and energetic! You get a lot of food and you don’t pay a whole lot. We ordered a large burrito and nacho and 3 drinks and it was under $40! If you order a large anything there, it will feed you for about 3-4 days!! Best place to eat and we told everyone we know to go there!!!

Walked in here by myself for the first time to watch the Timbers game and the staff were busy but really helpful and kind, food was good and I got into quite a few interesting conversations with friendly people throughout the night. Great spot!

I got the fish and chips and my wife pizza, they where both very bland and nothing to write home about. The cheese they put on the pizza got very rubber very fast. The atmosphere and service was pretty good, but the food didn't leave us very satisfied. We may have just bought the wrong thing

June bug was so personable and made us feel right a home. Food was incredible. Fresh fried oysters and very good Chowder... highly recommend this place if you visit

Stopped here for food to go. They are following oregon guideline with the pandemic. They were all very friendly. We got the 3 piece fish and chips. It was very tasty. Our only complaint was the fish pieces were very small. For 15.00 we were expecting a bit more fish. It was delicious though. My husband got the double cheeseburger and said it was delish. For two 3 piece fish and fries, a 2 piece fish and fries, double cheeseburger, and a hot dog and fries it was 57.00. Not bad. You get tons of sauce too. We got some very tasty tarter, ranch and fry sauce without even asking.

Went with my sister sunday evening for a few drinks. Very good service chill atmosphere. Pool tables were busy and mostly just folks sitting around talking. We had chips and salsa and the chips were fresh cut and fried! Went for breakfast with my folks and had the same server and she was awesome again. Food was excellent.

Neat place to check out with great food. Our server was amazing, and the atmosphere was like that typical rowdy bar you'd see in a TV show. Loved it!

Worst nachos ever! They are just plain gross. Burgers are good as is the ling cod fish and chips. Service is hit and miss; today was a miss. Waited a long while for everything including our check.

Came in for lunch with my husband and had a great experience! Very nice staff. Junebug took our order had great, positive energy and greeted us with a 'Hi kids!' She was very attentive to our needs and checked on us throughout our meal. As we chilled in the bar, locals came in to get food and drinks and she greeted most of them by name. It is a dive bar but it was cheers-like. I recommend it.

We stopped in just after opening on a rainy day. This was such an awesome, cozy spot! The food was perfect, the service was warm and careful, and there was always fun music on the speakers. Pandemic travels are complicated, but we felt so welcome and comfy. What am awesome spot?

If you are looking to experience a "locals" bar, go here. Usually very friendly crowd with an interesting atmosphere. decent quality bar food with some hidden gems. Drinks are strong and fairly priced. they got machines too

Great place drinks/game of pool.Not bad veg/ vegan selection! The one smily waitress with long curly hair is on it! Such a sweetheart love her!

I rarely leave reviews, but this is a must! My sister and I stopped in after horseback ridin a few weeks ago, and I'm happy that we did. The service was so great - both ladies were very nice and genuine! We each had the seafood plate.. and although the food was perfect, I've got to say those fried oyster were the best I'd ever had! If I ever come through town again, I'll definitely stop by again!

Every time I drive my hot rod go for a run. I go to Pacific City straight to Sportsman's have a beer pizza. Prime rib, fish and chips or whatever they have to offer for the today special great pricing.
